Mission Statement
(What)
To make disciples who make disciples.
This is based on two commands. In Matthew 28:19 we are commanded to “Go and make disciples”. It also has a basis in 1 Peter 3:15 where we are commanded to “be ready to give and answer to anyone who asks”. This forms the biblical model for Sunday school / Life Groups.

The Five Essentials for an Effective Sunday School Class / Life Group
- We are committed to teaching God’s people about His holy word – We will be found living and connected to Him in the word. (John 15: 5)(John 8: 31 & 32)
- We are committed to a vibrant prayer ministry – Praying for the needs of our community, church, each other, and ourselves. This expresses our faith in Him. (John 15: 7)
- We are committed to a ministry of encouragement – We will be pouring into the lives of each other encouraging and strengthening each other in our daily walk with Christ. (John 13: 34)
- We are committed to a ministry of service through missions, evangelism, and outreach – We will grow through reaching out and including others in the work set before us. We are committed to an overall goal to reproduce this model in new units when appropriate. (John 15: 8)
- We are committed to fellowshipping with each other – This builds family / community as we have fun together. We get to know each other beyond the superficial. Each person feels valued.
